| I work with a great group of guys. It feels good to finally work at a place where everyone has the same goal. I pretty much took an idea from a coworker today, asked him if i could use it for the same thing he is doing (which is undeniably taking potential money away from him), and he was all about me using the idea and hopes it works for me like it has for him. That's awesome.

| How the heck's it going? All good here on the Brian Smith front. Anyways... Only another month in my apartment. I absolutely cant wait to have a house. I'm sick of living in apartments. I dont see how some of you guys do it for years and years and years. And once I get house and can get a dog! cant wait for that either.

| Had a pretty good weekend. Looked at some houses, started organizing some stuff around my apartment, went and saw Carroll at work at the hospital, ate some kickass sushi with Jason, played some basketball, ate dinner with Carroll’s parents, and a lot of other little things that make up a good weekend.
I realized when shopping for some new basketball shoes Saturday that I should have become a basketball shoe designer, because I and probably a kindergartner could make better appealing shoes. I found one pair of basketball shoes I liked after looking at 6 stores.
Today is the last Monday at Wells Fargo, Thank God… Cant wait to start the new job full time!
I hope all my friends are doing well and Luke, we need to plan something set in stone when we hang out! J/K but it would be nice to hang out with you again | | |
| Well shoot, haven’t updated this in a while, lets see…
The holidays were great! I Went to Pennsylvania to see my parents and family for Christmas. Everyone was doing very well. It was good to see them again.
I came back Tuesday after Christmas and spent the rest of the week with Carroll and helped her get ready for the big new years party she hosted at a rented loft in downtown KC. It was a huge success and was much fun. Can’t wait till next year!
I quit my job at Wells Fargo after coming back from Christmas break and have really been gearing up for starting my new job at Soldi Financial. If anyone knows anyone who is looking to either buy a house or re-finance the loan on there current house please tell them you have a friend in the business and give them my number, 913-634-1105. Umm what else. Oh, to those who think I’ve disappeared… I did buuuut things are about to change for the better. Ill have much better schedule with my new job and will be able to focus on the better parts of life again, like friends and having fun and not working 65 hours a week!!
So it’s 2006 and time for those little goals you make at the beginning of each year. Some of mine for this year are:
- Focus on my friends again. I use to be so good at this, but got to focused on work.
- Grow in my relationship and learn everything I can about my amazing girlfriend.
- I want a six pack (not beer, the one that goes on the stomach)
- $60,000 income
- Grow mine and Johns business, Flip 2 houses this year and create and LLC (Limited Liability Corporation)
- Drive the same car for a year, the xterra, hah!
